What they do
CPH places ready-mix concrete using truck-mounted, articulating boom pumps operated by skilled operators, delivering concrete from mixer trucks to placing crews on commercial, infrastructure and residential job sites. It does not take ownership of the concrete and typically bills on a negotiated time-and-volume basis, with fuel surcharges and travel costs added as needed. Its Eco-Pan business provides concrete washout containment and industrial cleanup using pans and roll-off containers. As of October 31, 2025, the company operated roughly 1,520 equipment units, about 1,530 employees and approximately 150 locations globally.
Revenue drivers
- U.S. Concrete Pumping (Brundage-Bone) — Largest segment at 66% of total revenue for the year ended October 31, 2025; roughly 1,000 equipment units across about 95 locations in 23 states, serving commercial, infrastructure and residential general contractors on a negotiated time-and-volume basis.
- U.K. Operations (Camfaud and U.K. Eco-Pan) — Concrete pumping and waste management services in the U.K. under the Camfaud and Eco-Pan brands, with approximately 35 branch locations and headquarters in Epping, England; CPH estimates roughly 30% U.K. concrete pumping market share by fleet size.
- U.S. Concrete Waste Management Services (Eco-Pan) — U.S. Eco-Pan business provides industrial cleanup and containment via specially designed pans and roll-off containers, operating from 22 U.S. locations and cross-sold into the existing pumping customer base.
- Pricing and project mix — Revenue is billed on negotiated time and volume, with fuel surcharges and travel costs added based on project requirements; the company focuses on large, technically complex commercial and infrastructure work that generally commands higher price points.
Recent performance
For the third quarter of fiscal 2026 ended July 31, 2026, revenue rose 12.6% to $116.8 million from $103.7 million a year earlier, which management attributed to higher commercial and infrastructure demand and pricing, growing data center and infrastructure projects, and more stable U.S. weather. Gross profit increased 12.0% to $45.2 million, though gross margin slipped to 38.7% from 39.0% on fuel cost inflation. Income from operations rose 17% to $15.1 million and net income rose 33% to $4.9 million, or $0.09 per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA increased 13% to $30.4 million at a 26.0% margin, and quarter-end leverage improved to 3.6x from 3.8x with total liquidity of $357.3 million. Full-year reported revenue has declined each year since fiscal 2023 ($411.2 million in 2023, $391.3 million in 2024, $356.2 million in 2025).
Strategy
Management is pursuing growth in large commercial and infrastructure projects, particularly data centers, while expanding Eco-Pan locations in the U.S. and U.K. and cross-selling washout services into the existing pumping customer base. The company's capital allocation framework combines opportunistic M&A funded by cash and its revolver, continued investment in operations, free cash flow generation and deleveraging. On September 3, 2026 it initiated a quarterly cash dividend of $0.13 per share, totaling $0.52 over the next four quarters (a stated 5.6% initial yield), and extended its existing share repurchase plan. In January 2025 a subsidiary issued $425.0 million of 7.500% senior secured second lien notes due 2032, and management raised its full-year outlook.
Risks
- Cyclical construction demand — Substantially all customers come from commercial, infrastructure and residential construction, and a slowdown in construction spending has in the past and could again reduce revenue and operating results.
- Cost inflation and margin pressure — Inflation, high interest rates, increased fuel costs, supply-chain disruption and tariff uncertainty have negatively affected gross margins where cost increases could not be fully passed to customers, as seen in the third quarter's 38.7% gross margin.
- Customer project delays or cancellations — Macroeconomic conditions have caused some customer projects to be delayed or cancelled, which directly reduces pumping and waste management volume.
- Geographic end-market softness — Management noted residential and light commercial construction remain challenged and U.K. market conditions are more subdued, while adverse weather can temporarily reduce activity in particular regions.
Outlook
Management raised its full-year fiscal 2026 outlook for a second time, citing strong year-to-date performance and confidence in the business. It expects continued demand for large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects, particularly data centers, and continued organic growth, pricing discipline and new customer wins at Eco-Pan. Residential and light commercial construction are expected to remain challenged and U.K. conditions more subdued. Priorities include disciplined capital allocation, free cash flow generation, the new quarterly dividend, reduced leverage over time and strategic growth initiatives.
